EPA e-Manifesting System Updates

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has updated its Hazardous Waste Electronic Manifest (e-Manifest) System user fee schedule for the fiscal years 2024 and 2025 (October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2025). The EPA is currently not charging user fees to generators, transporters, or brokers. These fees are charged to the receiving facilities for each manifest submitted. However, the EPA is strongly encouraging the hazardous waste industry to adopt fully electronic manifesting as soon as possible so that industry members can take maximum advantage of the benefits and cost savings of electronic manifesting.
